Sending uses the Shopware mailer, dedicated data models for mails and recipients, and a scheduled task following Shopware conventions.

Rate limiting
Sending is capped at mails per minute and runs in batches - protecting mail servers and reputation.

AI Newsletter FAQ
Can I send newsletters straight from Shopware?
Yes. The newsletter is built as HTML in Shopware and sent to newsletter subscribers and shop customers, without an external tool such as Mailchimp or CleverReach and without exporting data.
Which AI providers are supported?
OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral and Google. You add your own API key, choose the model and can set a custom base URL. Generated texts are a draft you review before sending.
Are only opted-in recipients contacted?
Yes. From the newsletter subscribers only entries with the status optIn or direct are used. You can also filter by customer group, order period and minimum order value and see the recipient count before sending.
How are opens and clicks measured?
Opens through a small image file, clicks through redirected links, plus unsubscribes. Open rates are inherently imprecise, clicks are the more reliable signal.
How do I send to large lists?
The mails per minute setting limits the pace and protects your deliverability. A scheduled task processes running sends every five minutes, and for large lists there is the command bin/console staw:newsletter:send with --chunk.
What does the AI Newsletter cost?
